Gold & Affection

Felice is the daughter of a town scribe who works too hard and spends too little. She falls for the son of the local miller. Her father wants her to marry a much older man out of greed. Fortunately the young couple are friends with the son of the local Duke. He resolves to learn the truth of her father’s foul proposal, and also determine what gold might have to do with the situation.
